Interpipe expands product range through acquisition of AMTP Roman pipe plant in Romania

Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe has diversified its product range following the acquisition of ArcelorMittal Tubular Products (AMTP) in Romania, its first production platform within the European Union.

According to the company on Friday, Interpipe presented its updated and expanded pipe product portfolio at the global TUBE 2026 exhibition in Düsseldorf.

"This year, Interpipe introduced to a broad client audience an expanded line of pipe products, including the new design of the Intrepid SP HT semi-premium threaded connection. The latter is developed for casing sizes and has laboratory-confirmed high endurance performance. The diversification of our product range is driven by the acquisition of the pipe plant in Romania, our first production platform in the EU," the statement said.

As emphasized, the European market remains strategic for Interpipe's development. The company continues to focus on promising niches, particularly in green energy – geothermal and offshore wind power, as well as in the segment of piles and micropiles for construction projects.

Interpipe is a Ukrainian industrial company that manufactures steel pipes and railway products. The company's products are supplied to 70 countries worldwide through a network of sales offices located in key markets in the Middle East, North America, and Europe. In 2025, the company contributed UAH 5.5 billion to budgets at all levels.

The company's structure includes five industrial assets: Interpipe Nyzhniodniprovsky Tube Rolling Plant, Interpipe Novomoskovsk Pipe Plant, Interpipe Niko Tube, Dnipropetrovsk Vtormet, and the Dniprosteel electric steelmaking complex operating under the Interpipe Steel brand.

The company employs a total of around 9,500 people.

The ultimate owner of Interpipe Limited is Ukrainian businessman and philanthropist Victor Pinchuk and members of his family.
