Industrial park Bila Tserkva plans to launch educational hub in 2026
The Bila Tserkva Industrial Park, a project of the UFuture holding company owned by entrepreneur Vasyl Khmelnytsky, is building an educational hub and plans to open it in 2026, Oleksiy Genzer, commercial director of the Bila Tserkva Industrial Park, told Interfax-Ukraine.
According to him, the building, with a total area of 2,500 square meters, will house classrooms, production training grounds equipped with modern machinery, production laboratories, a conference hall, as well as office and social facilities.
"For us, an industrial park is an ecosystem of shared infrastructure and joint solutions. Together, we create the engineering foundation, organize services, and must also jointly address those systemic barriers that are difficult, costly, and not always efficient for an individual resident to overcome alone. One of the most pressing issues today is the availability of qualified personnel. For us, the staffing issue is part of the investment infrastructure," he said.
Genzer emphasized the critical importance of supporting the industrial development of the community while simultaneously developing education at all levels. "We are currently planning to engage a profile educational institution to develop modern training programs. We also plan to involve park residents in the program to provide people with the opportunity to train on modern equipment and acquire relevant qualifications directly on the park's premises," he said.
Among other initiatives of the Bila Tserkva Industrial Park is support for secondary and vocational education. In particular, a memorandum has been signed with local self-government authorities to equip labor training classrooms. Two classrooms have already been upgraded, and by 2028 it is planned to upgrade classrooms in 13 more educational institutions.
"The community carries out the renovation on its side, while we provide modern equipment. We hope that within this project we will be able to cover almost all secondary education institutions in the city," Genzer said.
UFuture, an investment holding company owned by Ukrainian entrepreneur Vasyl Khmelnytsky, has a diversified portfolio of assets in real estate, infrastructure, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals. It is actively investing in the development of the UNIT.City innovation park and the Bila Tserkva private enterprise.
The Bila Tserkva and Bila Tserkva 2 industrial parks were included in the Register of Industrial Parks in 2018. On the territory of the park, more than 20 residents operate, including foreign companies. The parks' land bank exceeds 70 hectares, including 45 hectares have been developed. More than 85,000 square meters of industrial and warehouse real estate have been commissioned.
