The Kopiyka retail chain announced that in early March 2026 it had acquired the Odesa-based Gurman chain, which operates nine mini-markets, the Retail Association of Ukraine reported.

"The acquisition of Gurman will allow us to strengthen our presence in central and tourist-attractive districts of Odesa, expand coverage, and offer customers an even more accessible and convenient format for everyday shopping," the association quoted Kopiyka CEO Dmytro Bohdanov as saying.

According to the press release, the total retail space of the Gurman chain amounts to 1,500 square meters. Kopiyka has already begun phased preparations to rebrand the acquired stores. Following the completion of integration, the Kopiyka chain will operate 127 stores, including seasonal outlets and a store in Kherson.

According to Opendatabot, in 2025 Kopiyka increased its net revenue by 19.5% to UAH 4.3 billion, while net profit rose by 31.6% to UAH 24.2 million.
