Uklon launches bus ticket sales, plans joint offers with Kyivstar in Q2-Q3 2026
Online taxi service Uklon has two strategic development directions: moving toward creating an ecosystem of products and new services, and searching for new growth zones and entering new markets, the company’s CEO Serhiy Hryshkov said at a Forbes Ukraine Business Breakfast on Wednesday.
According to him, the most important task for Uklon together with Ukraine’s largest mobile operator Kyivstar is finding substantial synergies between the businesses, and starting in the second-third quarter of 2026, the companies will have offers that users will see.
"Our main project now within the group is finding a scenario that will give us substantial value in terms of offers for the user… Actually, this is a nontrivial task. And I think we are moving at a good pace here," the CEO emphasized.
He noted the company is analyzing VEON Group countries to find and test possible strategies for entering those markets.
"I cannot name specific countries right now… A decision to launch in new countries has not been made," he said.
The Uklon CEO also announced the launch Wednesday of a new travel direction that includes bus tickets within and outside Ukraine.
"This is a beta test and the first version of our product that is being added to our ecosystem. It very synergistically complements our current products," the company head emphasized.
The new product will be available in the Android version, and later will appear on the iOS version.
Separately, Hryshkov announced the rollout of a new brand identity, where the main task will be to make Uklon an umbrella brand that will have a whole set of sub-brands with equal focus on each of these products.
"The association with us has always been only ride-hailing. Now we are changing this pattern, that we are also delivery," the CEO explained.
According to him, certain changes will appear soon regarding a redesign of the main screen, in particular a hub will be formed where Uklon’s product ecosystems will be located.
Among the directions the company is also analyzing, according to Hryshkov, are marketplace and superapp.
"This is one of the potential directions where we can move. It’s also quite a synergistic product because we have delivery. It’s currently under analysis," the Uklon CEO noted.
