Ukraine's Ministry of Economy updates minimum export prices for agricultural products for March
The Ministry of Economy, Ecology and Agriculture of Ukraine has updated the minimum prices for agricultural products subject to the export security regime, according to order No. 3853 published on the ministry’s website.
According to the document, prices have been set for goods classified under the Ukrainian Commodity Classification for Foreign Economic Activity codes 0409 00 00 00, 0802 31 00 00, 0802 32 00 00, 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, 1005, and 2306.
Minimum export prices are updated monthly by the 10th day of each month.
According to the updated data, an analysis of prices on FOB (free on board) terms indicates a significant increase in minimum indicators for oilseeds and products of their processing. In particular, the price for soybeans rose to $0.398 per kilogram ($398 per tonne), which is 18.1% higher than the February level. Indicative prices for rapeseed were also significantly increased, to $0.485 per kilogram (+10.98%), while the price indicator for sunflower oil rose to $1.089 per kilogram (+6.14%).
At the same time, the grain segment showed stability or only minor price fluctuations. The minimum price for corn remained unchanged at $0.158 per kilogram, while the indicator for wheat declined slightly, by 1.02%, to $0.195 per kilogram.
The most significant downward adjustment was recorded for shelled nuts, whose price fell by almost 35% compared with February.
