Ukrainian mobile operator Kyivstar grants UAH 250 in roaming bonuses to its subscribers in Middle East for 30 days

Kyivstar, Ukraine’s largest telecommunications operator, has decided, due to the security situation in the Middle East, to provide its subscribers currently in countries across the region with a free 30-day "Ideal Roaming" service package.

According to the operator’s press release, subscribers will receive 250 bonuses to their account (1 bonus = UAH 1), valid for 30 days, enabling them to use communications services at a special rate: calls to Ukrainian numbers and numbers in the country of stay, as well as all incoming calls, starting from UAH 1 per minute; mobile internet – from UAH 0.10 per MB.

"The provision of the ‘Ideal Roaming’ package is part of our systematic support for Ukrainians abroad," said Kyivstar CEO Oleksandr Komarov.

The company recalled that from the first months of the full-scale war it introduced the "Roaming Like at Home" service for Ukrainians abroad. As of January 1, 2026, Ukraine officially joined the European Union’s single roaming area, and the "Roaming Like at Home" service now covers 32 countries, all of them in Europe.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha reported on March 2 that approximately 250,000 Ukrainians are currently in the Middle East.

As of September 30, 2025, Kyivstar served around 22.5 million mobile subscribers and more than 1.2 million fixed-line subscribers.
