Ukraine exports 5 mln tonnes of agricultural products in Feb — analysts

Exports of agricultural products from Ukraine in February 2026 amounted to 5.0 million tonnes, which is 0.3% higher than the previous month, the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UCAB) reported.

"For the fourth consecutive month, agricultural product export volumes have remained at around 5.0 million tonnes with minimal deviations. The main product currently being exported is corn," analysts noted.

In February's export structure, grain crops accounted for the largest share — 3.4 million tonnes, 1% more than January's figure. In this segment, corn accounted for 81% of shipments and wheat for 19%. Meanwhile, oilseed exports fell 14% to 303,500 tonnes (soybeans — 72%, rapeseed — 25%, sunflower seeds — 2%).

Vegetable oil shipments to foreign markets fell 9% in February to 437,700 tonnes. In this category, sunflower oil accounts for 83%, rapeseed oil for 10% and soybean oil for 7%. In contrast, meal exports after oil extraction rose 14% to 470,400 tonnes, with sunflower meal accounting for 75% and soybean meal for 25%. Exports of other types of agricultural products rose 3% to 359,700 tonnes.
