Ministry of Economy starts accepting applications to offset cost of Ukrainian agricultural, industrial equipment in 2026
The Ministry of Economy has begun accepting applications for compensation of the cost of Ukrainian agricultural and industrial equipment in 2026, for which UAH 1.8 billion and UAH 475 million respectively are allocated in the state budget, the ministry's press service said.
"These are Made in Ukraine policy instruments that give businesses and farmers the opportunity to upgrade equipment on predictable terms while providing orders for our manufacturers. In 2026, the state allocated UAH 1.8 billion and UAH 475 million respectively for these programs," said Deputy Economy Minister Vitaliy Kindrativ.
The Ministry of Economy noted that according to the terms of these state programs, farmers can receive 25% compensation of the cost of domestic agricultural machinery and equipment (excluding VAT) provided its localization is at least 60%. To do this, they must be registered with the State Agrarian Register, select equipment from the ministry's list (14,400 items from 166 manufacturers) and make payment through one of 34 authorized banks.
The program compensating 15% of the cost applies to domestic industrial equipment (power, construction and special equipment) with a localization level of 40% or higher. Buyers can be private and municipal enterprises and make purchases through 29 authorized banks. Currently, 1,200 items from 44 Ukrainian plants are included in the relevant list.
To include products on the list, manufacturers must submit an electronic application to the Ministry of Economy with confirmation of the degree of localization and cost calculation.
The ministry specified that over two years of the state program compensating the cost of domestic agricultural machinery (25% compensation), 8,600 enterprises purchased 13,700 units of equipment worth nearly UAH 9.9 billion, and the state compensated them about UAH 2.1 billion. Under the industrial equipment program (15% compensation) during the same period, 163 enterprises purchased 343 units of equipment for UAH 899 million. The amount of compensation paid was UAH 112.4 million.
