Turkey's retailer Suvari, which develops the eponymous brand of men's clothes and shoes of classical and casual styles in Turkey, plans within 10 years to open 50 stores in Ukraine, the first of which will open in the first stage of the Ocean Plaza shopping and leisure mall located on the intersection of Antonovycha Street and Chervonoarmiysky Lane near Lybidska subway station in Kyiv.
"Over 10 years, Suvari plans to open 1,000 stores all over the world, including 50 in Ukraine. The company does not develop under franchise agreements and forms its chain itself," reads a press release of the Ukrainian Trade Guild consulting company, which is acting as an exclusive broker of the project.
The retailer did not disclose the size of investment in the development of the chain in Ukraine.
Ukrainian Trade Guild reported, referring to an agreement signed with Ocean Plaza, that the Suvari store will have an area of 160 square meters.
The Suvari clothes collection includes business suits, jackets, shirts of various styles, pants, T-shirts, Polo shirts, knitted jackets, cardigans, pullovers, sweaters, jumpers and leather jackets. The shoe collection includes classical shoes of various colors. Accessories include belts, ties, scarves, collar buttons and socks. The prices of all products are mid-range.
Suvari was founded in 1997 in Istanbul. The company has opened over 100 stores all over the world.
