Antitrust agency fines subsidiaries of Kronospan, Krono Group, Sorbes in Ukraine UAH 379 m

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has fined Mebelderevprom association and 14 its members UAH 419 million for collusion at auctions for the sale of timber, reads a report of the committee issued on Thursday.

The report says that the largest fines were imposed on subsidiaries of large international companies Kronospan, Krono Group and Sorbes.

Kronospan UA LLC, under control of Kronospan (Novovolynsk, Volyn region) is to pay UAH 89.04 million, Krono-Ukraine LLC, part of Krono Group (Kamianka-Buzka, Lviv region) is to pay UAH 164.08 million.

Interplit Nadvirna LLC (Ivano-Frankivsk region) and Swisspan Limited (Kostopil, Rivne region) from the Sorbes group were fined UAH 49.03 million and UAH 77.14 million respectively.
