South Airlines launches flights between Mariupol and Kyiv
South Airlines (Mariupol, Donetsk region) from June 22, 2012 launches regular flights from Kyiv to public joint-stock company Azovobschemash Mariupol Airport, reads a report of public joint-stock company Azovmash.
The report says that the airline will fly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and from July flights on Thursdays will be added.
Saab 340B aircraft will fly on the route. It will take one hour and 45 minutes to get to its destination.
Departure from Mariupol is at 0700, and arrival in Kyiv (Zhuliany) at 0845. Departure from Kyiv is at 1900, and arrival in Mariupol is at 2045.
Tickets can be bought at all ticket offices of the town, at airport offices and at Azovmash.
As reported, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine in January 2012 permitted Azovobschemash, the parental company of Azovmash, to lease the property of Mariupol Airport.
South Airlines was established in 1999. Its fleet consists of four types of aircraft: Yak-42D, Saab 340B, Embraer-500 and An-24RV aircraft.
