Wladimir Klitschko about incident with Chisora: I let my fists do the talking only inside the ring

World heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko has said he was surprised to learn about his alleged brawl with British boxer Dereck Chisora and said that doesn't resort to physical violence outside the boxing ring.

"I'm quite shocked by the recent British media stories about an alleged brawl between myself and Dereck Chisora. I am a professional prizefighter, and let my fists do the talking only inside the ring. I don't want to comment on Chisora's psychological issues," reads a statement of the Ukrainian boxer published on the official Web site of the Klitschko brothers on Wednesday.

British media earlier reported that Chisora confronted Klitschko in a nightclub on the Spanish island of Ibitza on July 28, but the two boxers were pulled apart by bouncers soon after.

"Cippriani, Ibiza, twice now I've bumped into Wladimir Klitschko. He is annoying me now," the British boxer wrote on his Twitter page.

Chisora's trainer Don Charles said: "They have history but it was purely a coincidence that they bumped into each other during their holidays."

Last year Chisora slapped Klitschko's elder brother Vitali during weigh-in ahead of their fight in Munich and later spat in Wladimir Klitschko's face several minutes before the fight.
