Athletes from nine countries to participate in Freestyle Ski World Cup at Bukovel

More than 60 athletes from Canada, the United States, Japan, China, Britain, Kazakhstan, Switzerland, Belarus, Australia and Ukraine will participate in the finals of the FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup at the Bukovel ski tourist complex (the village of Polianytsia, Yaremche Town Council, Ivano-Frankivsk region).

"The participation of such big states with significant world achievements in this World Cup is a sign of confidence in our state and the organizers of this competition, and we need to do anything to ensure that this competition is held at the highest level," Deputy Head of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration Roman Ivanytsky said at a press conference on Tuesday.

He said that for the first time the event in the region would be broadcast on sports channels in Europe and the world and the broadcasting will begin on February 23 at 1850, and a spectator zone for 1,000 seats will be created for the first time at this level of competition.

As reported, the final stage of the FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup will be held at Bukovel on February 18-24.

Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration created a committee to prepare for and hold the finals of the competition.
