Hungary is a unique platform for introduction and implementation of investment projects

Kyiv, May 18, 2015 On May 14, 2015, the conference entitled "Doing Business in Hungary" was held at Hilton Kyiv Hotel under the patronage of the Ambassador of Hungary to Ukraine, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary that brought together the representatives of business circles and state authorities of both countries. The conference provided the Ukrainian investors and exporters with a unique opportunity to get a comprehensive information on the investment climate of the EU member state – Hungary, as well as to communicate directly with representatives of state bodies and organizations of Hungary during the panel discussions. Opening the conference H.E. Erno Keskeny, The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Hungary to Ukraine, said that Hungary was ready to support Ukraine on its way to the European integration. "Our mission is to promote investments. Hungary and Ukraine is bound by a number of economic relations and ties," the Ambassador said. Petra Pana, the Deputy Secretary of State for Foreign Economic Affairs, expressed support for Ukraine. "Ukraine's successful democratic, social and economic transformation, its Euro-Atlantic integration and the strengthening of its economy is of prime importance for Hungary. We are ready to cooperate with Ukraine in agricultural sector, where your country is very strong," Pana said. In addition, the Director of the Department for Commercial Cooperation, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Ruslan Osipenko said that Ukraine had set its sights on European integration and moved confidently in this direction. "The Ministry of Economic Development has drawn up a set of reforms, aiming at constitutional and court transformations in order to facilitate the domestic business," Osipenko said. Peter Maga, the TV anchor was the Moderator of the event. "The government of Hungary has provided the financial support for the investment projects. If the investor co-operates with the relevant experts within his project, he is entitled to win a grant exceeding EUR 700,000," Co-founder of the "Invest in Hungary" project Robert Siy said.
