Only 6.2% of Ukrainians see situation in country as stable - poll

KYIV. Nov 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The overwhelming majority of Ukrainians (68.2%) believe that the current situation in the country is tense, according to a survey conducted in October-November this year.

The results of the survey were announced at a press conference at the Interfax-Ukraine news agency on November 22.

Some 21.9% of respondents described the current situation in Ukraine as explosive, and only 6.2% of respondents believe that the situation in the country is stable. Some 3.7% of respondents were undecided.

The survey was conducted by the Socis Center for Social and Marketing Research, Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, the Rating Sociological Group and the Razumkov Center from October 28 to November 14, 2017. A total of 20,000 respondents were interviewed in all regions of Ukraine, except for Crimea and the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The poll's margin of error does not exceed 0.7%.
