KYIV. Jan 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Aviation market members have criticized a draft document on the regulation of conditions of providing access to ground handling services in airports, prepared by the State Aviation Service of Ukraine, and offer alternative standards developed by them.

Market representatives, members of the Aviation Committee of Ukraine, established on the basis of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said this at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine.

According to lawyer from the ECOVIS Bondar and Bondar legal bureau Oleh Bondar, the period of submitting remarks to the draft document of the State Aviation Service has terminated and now it has to send it to the Ministry of Justice. In addition, the Aviation Committee has filed its alternative document to the Justice Ministry.

"He's working with it. We don't know how it will react to it," he said.

That's why, according to Bondar, the committee members say that the document of the aviation service requires significant improvement and cannot be adopted in the current wording.

"The draft document, developed by the Aviation Committee of Ukraine under the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, can become the basis for the consolidated position of the industry and we'll be happy if all the players in the industry take part in the development of a single document that would take into account the interests of all the players and would be based on European legislation," Bondar said.
