KYIV. May 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Arricano Real Estate Plc (Cyprus), the managing company and the developer of a number of trade and entertainment centers in Ukraine, in the first quarter of 2016 leased 3,878 square meters of retail space.

According to a company press release, the figure includes 1,401 square meters in trade centers that were leased. In January-March 2016 the company signed 42 new lease agreements.

In particular, the pool of tenants in the City Mall trade and entertainment center in Zaporizhia included New Balance and Sribne Stolittia (Silver Age). The Solar Gallery (Soniachna Halereya, Kryvy Rih) complex received also greeted new tenants: The Spiceroom confectionery, a Brand Cook restaurant and a DIM store of home textiles. Kyiv-based RayON center got greeted the following new tenants: Mida shoe store, clothing stores VD One, HelenA and Misto Outlet, a Candy Point sweets shop, a BUKVA bookstore, as well as a Souvenir Prestige gift and jewelry shop.

Among the new tenants of premises in the Prospekt trade center in Kyiv are the Must Have, Philisophy, Shopping Therapy, Walker, Brocard, US Kids, Marsee's, Nikola and Cherry Berry stores. Backstreet Café restaurant and a Nostalgia 80 toy museum also moved.

According to the company, at the end of the first quarter 2016 retail space vacancy in its facilities in City Mall was at 0%, RayON at 2.09%, Solar Gallery at 2.53%, Prospekt at 3.52% and Southern Gallery (Pivdenna Halereya, Simferopol) at 5.53%.
