KYIV. Nov 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Adonis medical group of companies is opening an obstetric department with 20 beds in the village of Buzova in Kyiv-Sviatoshynsky district in Kyiv.

Sales director of the Adonis medical center Oksana Huseva said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine that the clinic will not only accept Ukrainian citizens but also foreigners who have come to Ukraine for medical services, as well as foreign citizens living in the country.

According to Huseva, the cost of services at the maternity clinic is formed on the basis of a study of costs incurred by mothers in state maternity hospitals.

"It's not a secret that every public maternity clinic foresees a charitable contribution, there is a list of things that pregnant women should buy, as well as gratitude to doctors," she said.

Huseva noted that the basic cost of childbirth at Adonis "will start from UAH 30,000." It will depend on a number of factors, in particular, the ward, multiple or single pregnancy, and so on.

Patients who attended the medical center during pregnancy will have a discount for childbirth at the obstetric department. The cost of prenatal care based on compliance with national protocols starts from UAH 12,800.
