KYIV. June 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The public initiative "Restoring Donbas" has supported an urgent revision of the temporary order on entry to occupied territory of Donbas.

Head of the initiative Olena Petriayeva said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine that the updated temporary procedure governing movement across the contact line in Donbas violates a number of provisions of the Constitution.

"About seven Constitution norms are violated," she said.

In particular, according to Petriayeva, the provision prohibiting crossing of the contact line on public transport does not comply with Article 33 of the Constitution which guarantees freedom of movement, while the ban on imports of foods and medicines to uncontrolled territory is contrary to the constitutional rule which regulates the conditions of access for all citizens to healthcare and sanitary-epidemiological well-being.

The Restoring Donbas civil initiative has proposed amendments to the temporary procedure which it says would remove points contrary to the basic law.
