Kyiv, November 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) - New Holland Agriculture could in 2014 reduce the sale of agricultural machinery in Ukraine and Moldova by almost 40%.

"In 2013 we sold about 400 tractors and 400 harvesters, i.e. in general in Ukraine and Moldova - more than 800 units of agricultural machinery," Director of New Holland Agriculture for Ukraine, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland Antoine Rebillard said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine.

According to him, due to the devaluation of the hryvnia and military actions in eastern Ukraine, affecting the economy of the country, sales in the current year might reduce by almost 40%. The company plans to sell about 500 units of agricultural machinery.

New Holland Agriculture sells the harvesters and agricultural equipment of one of the largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment in the world - CNH Industrial N.V. (the United States).

New Holland Agriculture is the leading global brand of agricultural machinery with a line of products, which includes more than 80 series of machines.
