A video clip about the arrival of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Crimea on February 28, 2014 in his status as Ukrainian MP was watched in the Obolonsky District Court of Kyiv on Wednesday.

This video was viewed at the request of the prosecutor's office before Poroshenko's expected interrogation in court as a witness via a video link from the presidential administration building.

Prosecutor of the Chief Military Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine Maksym Krym noted that on February 28, 2014, Poroshenko personally arrived in Crimea without protection to resolve the conflict, which was then inspired by Russia.

As reported, on February 28, 2014, then MP Poroshenko was not allowed to enter the Supreme Council of Crimea. Poroshenko arrived at the Crimean parliament building, but could not get through the aggressively-minded crowd of people who had previously participated in a rally in support of the actions of the Crimean parliament.

When asked by journalists about the purpose of his arrival in Simferopol, Poroshenko then said: "I came with peace. I want to establish a dialogue. I do not blame these people."
