Ukraine reports nine attacks on its troops in Donbas in past day with no casualties reported

Russia's proxy forces have mounted nine attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with no Ukrainian soldiers reported as killed or wounded in action, the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) headquarters has reported.

"In general, during the past day, the enemy conducted nine targeted fire attacks along the entire contact line at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As a result of the enemy fire, not a single soldier of the ATO forces suffered," the ATO staff said on its Facebook page on Monday morning.

In the Luhansk sector, the enemy opened fire from infantry fighting vehicles' cannons, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns and small arms near the village of Zaitseve in the afternoon and in the evening.

The Mariupol sector saw most of the enemy attacks in Donetsk region. In particular, the occupation forces used 120mm and 82mm mortars near the village of Talakivka. The invaders simultaneously engaged infantry fighting vehicles. Moreover, enemy fire from mortars of various calibers was recorded near the villages of Vodiane and Shyrokyne. In addition, the illegal armed formations violated the ceasefire near the town of Avdiyivka, using heavy machine guns and small arms.
