ATO HQ reports 3 WIAs amid 5 enemy attacks in past 24 hours

Russia's hybrid military forces have attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas five times in the past 24 hours, with three Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action, the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) headquarters has reported.

"During the past day, the Russian occupation forces continued to shell the Ukrainian defenders, using different types of weapons, mortars of various calibers," the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) headquarters said on Facebook on Monday morning.

"In general, over the past day, five shelling attacks of the defensive fortifications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from illegal armed formations have been recorded," the ATO staff said.

In the Donetsk sector, the enemy used heavy 120mm mortars against the Ukrainian positions near the villages of Kamianka and Novotroyitske, thus grossly violating the Minsk agreements. The militants also fired hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers on the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Vodiane.

In addition, the enemy was active near Butovka coal mine in the evening hours of Sunday. In the said area, the invaders launched over forty 82mm shells and opened fire from grenade launchers of various types toward the positions of Ukrainian soldiers.

In the Luhansk sector, the aggressors fired small arms on the Ukrainian defenders near the village of Zaitseve.
