No shots fired in Donbas over past 24 hours - ATO HQ
Over the past day, illegal armed formations for the first time did not open fire on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) area, the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) headquarters has reported.
"For the first time in a long time the day passed without violations of the ceasefire regime in the ATO area. Over the past day, there has been not a single shelling in the direction of defense positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the report posted on Facebook on Wednesday morning, reads.
It is also reported that the units of the Ukrainian army strictly adhere to the Minsk agreements, ensuring the implementation of all measures aimed to maintain a sustainable ceasefire.
A complete ceasefire gives Ukrainians more opportunities to restore the destroyed infrastructure, establish transport links and continue demining works in the area, the ATO staff said.
