Canadian foreign minister to visit Kyiv in coming days - Klimkin
Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland will visit Ukraine in the next few days, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has said.
"Chrystia Freeland will visit Kyiv in a few days. We will talk to her about how to use additionally the opportunities of the G7," he told journalists in Kharkiv on Wednesday.
Klimkin also said that Canada would preside over the G7 countries from 2018.
As reported, Canada's Standing Committee on National Defense published a report entitled "Canada's Support to Ukraine in Crisis and Armed Conflict," which, inter alia, calls on the Government of Canada to consider furthering Ukrainian interests at the G7 and promote relations with the Ukrainian government and the public, especially in the fight against corruption.
