Groysman and Mogherini agree to focus on reforms in energy, fiscal system and state assets management

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini have agreed to focus on reforms in the energy sector, the fiscal system and state assets management.

"The parties agreed to focus on continuing reforms in the energy sector, in particular, reforming Naftogaz Ukrainy, in the fiscal system, and management of state assets," the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Mogherini noted progress in reforms in Ukraine and, consequently, the strengthening of the economy.

"We observe that the government, state governance in Ukraine became stronger, and as a result, the economy is stronger. We note macro-financial stabilization, the reform of the banking sector, changes in the pension system. We welcome the adoption of the budget and consider it expedient to continue the pace of reforms," the Cabinet press service said citing the EU official.
