Groysman in Georgia calls for uniting efforts to achieve peace on the Eurasian continent

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has said during his current official visit to Georgia that there is the need to unite efforts to make the aggressor state abandon plans and to press for peace on the Eurasian continent.

"I am deeply convinced that by uniting our efforts, we'll be able to establish peace not only in Ukraine, but on the [entire] continent and, in general, it is necessary to coerce aggressors or an aggressor into giving up their plans, which, unfortunately, takes lives," the Ukrainian prime minister said at Mariam Makashvili Military Personnel Rehabilitation Centre in Georgia.

Groysman thanked Georgia for the rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers taking part in the Anti-Terrorist operation (ATO) in Donbas.

"Ukraine highly values Georgia's contribution to our independence and restoration of territorial integrity, and we, in turn, always support and will support Georgia in its aspirations, including restoration of territorial integrity and sovereignty," the prime minister said.

According to the Ukrainian government's press service, 130 Ukrainian soldiers have undergone rehabilitation at Mariam Makashvili Military Personnel Rehabilitation Centre since 2015. Now, under a memorandum and a plan of bilateral cooperation between the Ukrainian and Georgian Defense Ministries for the current year, 15 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being treated at the Center.
