ATO HQ asks people cooperating with army not to report on course of operation in Donbas

The headquarters of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO HQ) in Donbas has appealed to people cooperating with the Ukrainian army not to disclose any information about the actions of the Armed Forces units in the area of a special operation, reminding servicemen of accountability for the leaking of classified information.

"The ATO HQ asks people who cooperate with the Ukrainian Armed Forces not to disclose any information, photos and video materials concerning the course of tactical and operational actions (movement, change of positions, progress, etc.)," reads a statement posted on the Facebook page of the press center of the ATO headquarters on November 26.

The headquarters explained the need for such an address due to a case recorded a few days ago when one of the volunteers prematurely released information that jeopardized the security and life of military personnel.

The ATO headquarters also reminded servicemen of administrative and criminal accountability for the leaking of classified information.

"Once again, we insistently ask you not to spread any information about the course of the anti-terrorist operation!" reads the report.
