Ukrainian Armed Forces units did not advance in Donbas

The Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) has said that the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces comply with the Minsk agreements, military units did not advance, while illegal armed groups in occupied Donbas resort to information provocations.

"The Ukrainian side of the JCCC informs that the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not advance. The ATO forces fully observe the Minsk agreements. The units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the ATO zone can improve their positions on the contact line within the Minsk agreements," the Ukrainian side of the JCCC said in explanations posted on the Facebook page of the press center of the ATO headquarters on Saturday, November 25.

Russia and illegal armed groups operating in certain districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions are waging an information war on Ukraine in order to discredit the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the eyes of the world community, the Ukrainian side of the JCCC said. According to the report, information provocations were used ahead of the visit by OSCE SMM Principal Deputy Chief Monitor Alexander Hug to Donetsk and Luhansk regions in order to destabilize the situation among civilians in the region.
