Cabinet will do everything to create, finance Anti-Corruption Court after relevant Rada decision – Groysman

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has said that the Cabinet will do everything necessary within its competence to create and finance the Anti-Corruption Court as soon as possible after the decision of the Verkhovna Rada on its creation and the signing of the law by the president.

During a meeting with World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim in Kyiv on Tuesday, the prime minister said that Ukraine had already established a system of bodies for the prevention and detection of corruption that are developing their institutional activities.

"Another element is punishment, and this is a fair judicial system on the one hand and a specialized court that should put an end to these matters. Now, I think about the framework of the parliament and cooperation with the president, because there are questions of the president's constitutional powers. This issue must be resolved," Groysman said.

"We, as the government, will do everything to ensure that there are no delays in the establishment, adoption of government regulations and financing," the prime minister said.
