No Ukrainians among victims of earthquake on Iran-Iraq border

No Ukrainians were killed or injured in an earthquake recorded along the borders of Iraq and Iran, the Consular Service Department of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has reported.

"According to preliminary information from Ukraine's consul in Iran, there are no Ukrainians among the victims of the earthquake in Iran/Iraq," the department reported on Twitter on Monday.

As reported, the powerful 7.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded in the western part of Iran, 73 kilometers south of the city of Merivan in the province of Kurdistan, on Sunday, November 12.

According to Iranian television, on November 13, the death toll reached 328 people.
