Tymoshenko accuses Presidential Administration of falsifying UTC vote

Leader of the Batkivschyna Party Yulia Tymoshenko has accused the Presidential Administration of Ukraine of falsifying results of elections to united territorial communities (UTCs).

"The Presidential Administration is doing everything to falsify the results of the elections to the UTCs. If you look at the main TV channels and on the Internet you will see that it declared the winner of UTCs to be the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, giving the political party fantastic results and multiplying by zero the result of the Batkivschyna Party," Tymoshenko said during a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.

According to Tymoshenko, an information hybrid war against the people of Ukraine is being waged.

Tymoshenko said the elections to UTCs are preparation for falsifying presidential elections [scheduled in 2019].

"They are checking how best to fool people," she said.

Tymoshenko said that according to stamped protocols, 192 Batkivschyna deputies were elected, compared to 657 from Poroshenko's bloc. She said her party garnered 29%, compared to 21% for Poroshenko's bloc.

As earlier reported, elections to UTCs were held on October 29, 2017.
