Ukraine agrees to Russia's membership in monitoring commission - Miller
Ukraine has agreed to Gazprom and Russian energy officials being members of the international monitoring commission, said Gazprom chief Alexei Miller.
"We see that Naftogaz Ukrainy has finally become cooperative," Miller said.
"Ukraine has accepted the proposal, apparently under pressure from the European Union, to set up an international multilateral monitoring commission that will include Gazprom, Naftogaz, and Ukrainian and Russian energy ministerial officials, as well as European consumers of Russian gas and independent experts," Miller told journalists in Sochi on Friday.
"Hopefully, we will now work faster and more constructively and Ukraine will adhere to the so far verbally reached agreements," Miller said.
