Ukraerocenter closes airspace in 50 km zone from blazing zone at ammo depot

The Ukrainian Airspace Management and Planning Centre (Ukraerocenter) has closed the airspace in the 50 km zone from the blazing epicenter at the ammunition depot near Vinnytsia, Deputy Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Lavreniuk has said.

"About an hour ago, the primary information was received from the crew of the Belavia air company, which followed the Larnaka-Minsk route, that they saw explosions 22 km north of the city of Vinnytsia - Kalinovka in Vinnytsia region. It was established that ammunition depots are on fire. The Infrastructure Ministry is expecting clarifications from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Command of the Air Forced of Ukraine regarding the zone of aircraft flight restrictions. Ukraerocenter closed the airspace within a radius of 50 km from the zone of ignition from land to an unlimited height," he wrote on his Facebook page late Tuesday.

Lavreniuk said that Pivdenno-Zakhidna Railways of public joint-stock company Ukrzaliznytsia blocked the tracks near Kalynivka.
