Govt expands rules of crossing contact line in ATO area for goods by ban to transport non-humanitarian goods

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has expanded the rules of crossing the contact line in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone with a ban to transport non-humanitarian goods.

An Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported that the decision was made at a government meeting on Friday, August 18.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman read the decision among those passed without discussion by the government.

The transportation of cargo, apart from humanitarian cargo, is stopped under a decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine for the period when the decision is in effect.
