The circle of suspects in the case of a possible embezzlement of PrivatBank funds will be established after the assessment of losses inflicted on the financial institution, Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) Artem Sytnyk has stated.

"All possible involved in this fraud are being identified. At the same time, economic studies are being conducted to fulfill the requirements of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine to establish damages by expert means," he said at a press conference in Kyiv.

"In future a circle of suspects will be formed," he added.

He noted the former shareholders of PrivatBank should prior to July 1 have fulfilled their obligations, but they have not done this.

"We understand this case should be investigated instantly, and we try to go as fast as possible on it," the NABU director said.
