Poroshenko to pay state visit to Georgia July 17-19
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will pay a state visit to Georgia on July 17-19, 2017, where he will meet with his Georgian counterpart Giorgi Margvelashvili.
According to the press service of the Ukrainian president, the program of the visit also includes meetings of Poroshenko with Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Chairman of the Georgian parliament Irakli Kobakhidze.
During the visit, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents aimed at deepening strategic cooperation between Ukraine and Georgia.
In addition, the presidents of Ukraine and Georgia will open a business forum in Tbilisi.
The joint participation of Poroshenko and Margvelashvili in the work of the investment round table in Batumi is also planned.
Within the framework of the visit, the president of Ukraine will also visit the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, where he will meet with Chairman of the Government of Adjara Zurab Patardze.
