The Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine together with foreign partners are completing preparations for the Ukrainian-American Sea Breeze 2017 exercises to be held in the northwestern part of the Black Sea, in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions, on for July 10-23.

According to the press service of the naval commanders, the leadership course for the sergeant staff at the Western naval base of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (Odesa) has completed.

"During five days Ukrainian sergeants have been carefully studying the course, interested and asked a lot of questions. The instructors, in turn, tried to instill the appropriate skills in them and provide opportunities for self-realization as a leader and a manager under NATO standards," chief warrant officer of the Royal British Navy Bill Bailey.

The Sea Breeze exercises are multinational military exercises that have been held in Ukraine since 1997 according to the memorandum of understanding and cooperation on defense and military relations between the Ukrainian Defense Ministry and the U.S. Department of Defense. The co-organizers of the exercise are Ukraine and the United States.
