Ukraine introducing One stop security procedure with Israel

Ukraine's State Aviation Service has introduced the compliance of aviation safety at the Ben Gurion airport with international requirements, which allows introducing the One stop security procedure for transit passengers traveling from the airport in Tel-Aviv to the Boryspil international airport (Kyiv).

The press service of the State Aviation Service reported that the decision was made at a meeting of the two delegations on June 21.

Passengers who pass the security procedure at the Ben Gurion airport and traveling via the Boryspil international airport as transit passengers would not pass the additional security check in Terminal D.

"High aviation security standards allow us to relax control for transit passengers traveling from Tel-Aviv. This step would strengthen competitiveness of the Boryspil airport as a hub," acting First Deputy Chairman of the State Aviation Service Serhiy Korshuk said.

He also said that the State Aviation Service invited Israeli colleagues to visit the Boryspil airport to introduce the similar procedure for passengers traveling to Tel-Aviv.
