NATO-Ukraine Working Group in Kyiv considers interim results of cooperation road map implementation

Participants of the NATO-Ukraine Joint Working Group on Defense-Technical Cooperation have discussed interaction in the field of armaments and the implementation process of projects as part of NATO's trust funds.

The Ukrainian delegation was headed by Oleh Hladkovsky, the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council's (NSDC) first deputy secretary and the chairman of the inter-ministerial commission for the policy of military-technical cooperation and export control, while the NATO delegation was led by Camille Grand, NATO Assistant Secretary-General for Defense Investment, at the 24th meeting, which took place in Kyiv on June 15, the NSDC press service said on Friday.

The parties discussed cooperation in the field of armaments and specified priorities and plans of further cooperation as part of the NATO-Ukraine Defense-Technical Cooperation Road Map.

Work of NATO trust funds aimed at increasing the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defense capacity and achieving compatibility with the alliance was also addressed.
