The minimum wholesale and retail prices for tobacco products could be abolished.

The Cabinet of Ministers registered corresponding bill No. 6568 in the Verkhovna Rada on June 8.

According to an explanatory note to the document, the purpose of the bill is to ensure compliance of the legislation norm with Ukraine's international obligations in accordance with the association agreement between Ukraine and the EU regarding the implementation of EU Council Directive 2011/64/EU in the national legislation of Ukraine.
