Representatives of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the city of Brindisi (Italy) are participating in an expert meeting on amphibious operations.

"The purpose of the event is to exchange experience and study the issues of combating terrorism, piracy, smuggling, preventing pollution of the environment in the marine zone of responsibility, as well as studying tactics of combat operations and landing to capture and retain important facilities," the press centre of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Wednesday.

The Navy expects that in the future, the received information can be used in the context of reforming the Ukrainian Navy.
