Four NATO ships enter Odesa port

The ships of the connection of the permanent naval mine action group of NATO (SNMCMG2) has entered the Odesa port on Friday.

According to the press center of the Ukrainian Navy Command, command and control ship the Rear Admiral Сzernicki (ORP KX CZERNICKI, Polish Navy), sea minesweepers the Duero (ESPS DUERO, Spanish Navy), the Rottweil (FGS ROTTWEIL, German Navy) and the Alanya (TCG ALANYA, Turkish Navy) put on.

Within the framework of the visit, the protocol meetings will be held between the command of the cruise and the commanders of the ships with the command of the Ukrainian Navy, the leadership of the Odesa regional administration and the Odesa City Council.

The program of the visit also provides for training in the struggle for the survivability of ships, visits to NATO ships by Ukrainian Navy military personnel, sports competitions between SNMCMG2 servicemen and servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces of Naval Forces, a cultural program and a city tour for Odesa guests.

In addition, on Saturday the ships will be open during two hours for Odesa residents.

The visit of the ships will last until April 20.
