Member of Parliament from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc parliamentary faction Oleksiy Honcharenko, who was abducted on Thursday, is in a safe place and will testify as an affected party, Prosecutor of Odesa region Oleh Zhuchenko has said.

"I can say we've done our job - we've prevented [attempts] to cause physical injuries to him, make him blind and mutilate his face ... and actual abduction ... He is now in a safe place and will give evidence as a victim today," he said at a briefing in Odesa.
