President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said that since the beginning of the Russian aggression, 2,608 Ukrainian troops were killed, 2,200 of them - from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"2,608 Ukrainian soldiers were killed during the aggression. Some 2,200 of them - from the staff of the Armed Forces," the president said, speaking at the operational meeting of the Armed Fores of Ukraine in Kyiv on Wednesday.
