Head of Ukraine's SBU Security Service Vasyl Hrytsak has said the 'black ledger' [of payments] and Russian flags were seized during a raid of a group working with the special services of the Russian Federation.

During Tuesday's joint briefing with Prosecutor General's Office head Yuriy Lutsenko in Kyiv on Tuesday, Hrytsak showed photos taken during the raid.

"These are the first searches showing we are on the right track," the SBU chief said.

According to Hrytsak, money, Russian flags, telephone information showing ties with Russian special services and other incriminating evidence were found.

"This demonstrates the amounts of money Russia's special services are paying to organized so-called roundtable meetings and conferences in Dnipro, Odesa, Lviv, Kyiv and even in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, as well as attempts to lobby a draft law on the status of the Russian language in Ukraine," he said.

Hrytsak added that the SBU together with the PGO will investigate the case and follow up leads.
