Crimea will return to Ukraine - Poroshenko
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has expressed confidence that Crimea, which was annexed by Russia in March 2014, will be returned to Ukraine.
"I have no doubts. There are no doubts, because it is Ukrainian territory, Ukrainian people live there and it is a gross violation of international law," he said in an interview with Reuters on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The president noted that "some people think that we do not want to use military force, that we use only a diplomatic way, the Minsk agreements." However, in addition, he said that Ukraine uses a mechanism of international courts and international justice. He recalled that another suits have been recently filed to the UN International Court regarding terrorism and discrimination on the part of the Russian Federation.
