Poroshenko instructs Foreign Ministry to pass motion to UN Hague court on Russia's violations of convention on terrorism financing prevention

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to pass motion to the International Court of Justice in the Hague against Russia's violations of two UN Conventions - on Countering the Financing of Terrorism and the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.

"Today the whole complex of works on pretrial process has been completed. Today, Ukraine is fully ready to pass all the necessary documents to the International Court of Justice in the Hague to bring the Russian Federation to justice on these two conventions," Poroshenko said during a meeting with Ukrainian President's Envoy for the Crimean Tatar people and MP from Petro Poroshenko Bloc Mustafa Jemilev, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine on European Integration Olena Zerkal and Deputy Heads of the Ukrainian Presidential Administration Kostiantyn Yeliseyev and Oleksiy Filatov, the press service of the Ukrainian president said on Monday.
