President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz during a phone conversation with Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko has confirmed the EU's readiness to complete all the procedures to meet its obligations for the provision of the visa-free regime to Ukraine.
During the conversation, Poroshenko thanked Schulz for his clear position in support of Ukraine during the European Council's session held in Brussels on December 15, in particular for the unblocking of the process of ratification of the Association Agreement, visa-free regime for Ukraine and continuation of the regime of sanctions against Russia in response to the lasting violation of Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty, the Ukrainian president's press service reported.
