Ukrainian army ready to pull back from Stanytsia Luhanska but hostiles marring truce

The Ukrainian army is ready to implement the Minsk agreements with regard to the 'mirror' disengagement of forces and hardware in the Stanytsia Luhanska area yet the hostiles continue to mar the truce.

"The truce should hold for at least seven days in order to make the withdrawal happen. They kept shooting in Stanytsia Luhanska, just the day before yesterday and prior to that. We are ready to pull back if the hostiles do the same," Viktor Shubets of the anti-terrorist operation staff in eastern Ukraine told Interfax-Ukraine.

The Ukrainian army is fully prepared to begin the withdrawal, he said.
